A typical
moving day involves the help of friends from both
congregations. Pews are first moved outside to the
loading area. Men carry (being careful to support the
middle of the pew) the pews into the truck and form the
bottom row of 5 pews or so. (depends on the truck).
The next row
of pews is then laid, usually upside down, on the first
row. Ends should be protected with cardboard or
blankets.
You can put
about 5 rows high in a truck, if you can find someone to
crawl back through and get out of the truck!
A great meal for all will make this a
memorable day!
